Holiday home in Ebeltoft
The town of Ebeltoft is located on Djursland and here th town is an attraction in itself. Ebeltoft is one of Denmark's most popular holiday areas and this is not without reason. Ebeltoft is Djursland's oldest market town and got its commercial property rights back in 1301 and this is reflected in the cozy town. The cobbled, narrow streets and old, small half-timbered houses create the perfect setting for a pleasant walk through the old market town that often has music and entertainment during the summer period.
The atmospheric town has many small shops, with everything from fashion to handicrafts, such as glass and ceramics stores and other specialty stores. In addition, the town also has more restaurants and cafes.
The town of Ebeltoft is a small piece of Denmark's history, beautifully located by the ocean. Visit Glasmuseet Ebeltoft - Denmark's only museum of glass art, Ree Park Safari or the Frigate Jylland - the longest wooden ship in the world that participated in the wars against Schleswig in the 19th century. • The old town hall and the Siamese collection
The old town hall was built in 1789 and is located in the old town district of Ebeltoft. It is a unique experience to walk around in the building with the original interior and visit the guard room, the Molbostuen, the Tingstuen and the prison cellar.
Just behind the Old Town Hall you will find the Siamese collection. A unique collection of stuffed animals, insects and ethnographic objects created by Rasmus Havmøller, a Danish adventurer and hunter, during his stay in Siam (Thailand) from 1914 to 1933. The exotic collection is a pure art chamber and still stands as when it opened in 1940. An attraction for children and adults alike.
• The nature reserve – Mols Bjerge
Experience the national Park Mols Bjerge and see the unique landscape and the beautiful scenery. The Danish national Park is named after the area's best-known natural area: Mols Bjerge (mountains), but the large nature area contains more than that, with a land area of approc. 150 km2 and 30 km2 of sea. The national park consists of heaths, forests, bogs and beautiful coastlines. Visit the fine beach or take the opportunity to hike, ride or participate in a guided tour - National Park Mols Bjerge is full of possibilities.
• The glas museum Ebeltoft Discover a magical world of glass in Denmark's only museum of glass art. • The Frigate Jylland
The world's longest wooden ship and a unique history. The ship participated in the Schleswig wars in the 19th century and was in that time a high-tech marvel and one of the most modern ships. The frigate offers many stories and activities for both children and adults.
• Ree Park Safari
Take a trip to Ree Park Safari, meet the many animals from four different continents and have an unforgettable experience. Try a ride on one of the big camels, pet all the animals on the Farm, take the America Expressen to the North American prairie with bears, elk and wolves or take go on safari and meet the African animals from the savannah.

An obvious way to explore Djursland's beautiful scenery is by bike. In Djursland, there are plenty of bike trails to help you find your way around the area. Try the Gjerrildbanestien trail, which follows the old, abandoned railway that ran from Gjerrild in the northeast to Ryomgård in the centre of Djursland.
In the southern part of Djursland is Mols. A large area
of Mols consists of Mols Bjerge National Park which was
established in 2008. Here, you will find some of Denmark's
most
unique and beautiful scenery. The most well-known area in
the National Park is Mol's Mountains, an undulating,
hilly landscape. At an altitude of 137 m., Agri Bavnehøj is
the
highest point in the Mols Mountains. The Ree
Park Safari, where you can see more than 100 different
species of animals, is also in the park.
Don't forget to visit beautiful Stubbe Lake, which is
Djursland's largest
lake.
South of Mols Bjerge National Park, you will find the main town on Mols, Ebeltoft (link to area page), which is south Djursland's largest town. Here, you can visit Ebeltoft Glass Museum, which is Denmark's only museum of glass art, and, of course, the impressive frigate, "Jutland" that participated in the Schleswig wars in the 19th century is moored here. Every year, a large number of tourists visit Ebeltoft to soak up the sun on the area's good beaches, watch life go by in the pleasant towns and, of course, visit the Mols Bjerge. National Park. From Ebeltoft, there is a ferry connection to Zealand.

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement containing all necessary information. On the first page you will find information about the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a directions on how to find the house. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due dates.
On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key as well as an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses (electricity, heating, water, etc.) are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.
Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences.
If you can not reach your destination until eg. late evening, our local offices will be closed. Therefore please contact us in time to make arrangements with regards to the key and the deposit. All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can be rented at the local office or online, if you prefer not to bring these items yourselves.
When you book a baby cot, please note that we can not guarantee space for the cot in the master bedroom. If the house description say there is a cot in the house and you only need one, booking is unnecessary.
You can also book delivery of the extras you rent. This way you do not need to drive several times between the holiday home and local office.
Please note that in high season, extras might be sold out. Therefore we recommend you to always book extras and final cleaning when booking your holiday home.
We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.
While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
