This is Denmark's northernmost house, located in the middle of a protected area with plenty of bird life and peace and quiet. From the holiday cottage you have a 180 degree panoramic view of the sea. The house has a modern, tasteful style. From the living room you can access a 70 m2 large balcony, where you can enjoy the magnificent view of the sea and nature. The kitchen is from 2000. The town of Skagen, located at the northernmost tip of Denmark, is known as the town with the highest number of sunshine hours in the country. Here, you'll feel on top of the world as you stand with one foot in the Skagerrak and the other in the Kattegat. Right here, is where the waves of the two seas meet. Take a ride on the tractor bus "Sandormen" (The Lugworm), which drives all the way out to The "Spit" where you can stand with one leg in each sea. Skagen's famous lighthouses: the Vippe Lighthouse, the White Lighthouse and the Skagen Gray Lighthouse, can be seen on the way out to the spit.
Over the centuries, the special, clear, bright light has attracted artists from all over Denmark to paint the beautiful landscape. At the end of the last century, one particular colony of artists established themselves in the area. The Skagen Museum shows what these artists managed to create. PS Krøyer, Anna Ancher and Michael Ancher are just some of the artists whose great works of art are exhibited here in Skagens Museum.
On the outskirts of Skagen, in Old Skagen, you can see and feel what this picturesque little village town used to look like back when nothing had changed. such as the Sand-Covered Church, which has been "Invaded" by sand over the centuries until only the church tower remains to be seen today. In this area, you'll also find Råbjerg Mile, a must on your list of places to visit. Covering approx. 1,000,000 cubic metres, it is Europe's largest drifting dune and, on average, Råbjerg Mile "drifts" about 15 metres per year. In Eagleworld in Tversted, you can see the world's largest eagles close up and watch them unfurl their great wings as they soar through the large open spaces of the nature reserve.

Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement containing all necessary information. On the first page you will find information about the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a directions on how to find the house. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due dates.
On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key as well as an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses (electricity, heating, water, etc.) are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.
Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences.
If you can not reach your destination until eg. late evening, our local offices will be closed. Therefore please contact us in time to make arrangements with regards to the key and the deposit. The contact information of the local office can be found on your rental agreement or under the menu Kontakt on dancenter.dk
All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils, duvets and pillows necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can be rented at the local office or online, if you prefer not to bring these items yourselves.
When you book a baby cot, please note that we can not guarantee space for the cot in the master bedroom. If the house description say there is a cot in the house and you only need one, booking is unnecessary.
You can also book delivery of the extras you rent. This way you do not need to drive several times between the holiday home and local office.
Please note that in high season, extras might be sold out. Therefore we recommend you to always book extras and final cleaning when booking your holiday home.
We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.
While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
