Your vacation home is located inside the beautiful and lively Belganet in Blekinge.
In the kitchen of this old cozy house, you’ll find a fully functional old-school baker’s oven.
The TV has Astra Satellite with all German channels for no additional cost. The garden, which is shared with the owner, is leafy with high rising trees.
There’s great chances of finding mushrooms and berries close by. There is a fish farm here where you can buy salmon, a wildlife café and handicraft shops, amongst other things. Belganet has plenty of lakes. A beautiful lake is called Galtsjön, and here you can go for a swim or go fishing. This is also where your boat is.
It is possible to charge an electric car on site for an extra cost.
The area is also called “Sveriges Trädgård”, the garden of Sweden, because of its beautiful nature, sea and archipelago. Almost all of Blekinge is beautifully situated along the Baltic Sea with its own archipelago and small and large islands. Angling in the river of Mörrum is very popular, but also many of the small lakes in the area attract a lot of angling enthusiasts.
Even though Blekinge is situated a bit off the beaten track, there is still something for every taste. Experience the nature from the bicycle- and hiking paths which are all over Blekinge. The Blekinge route of 22 miles is the most challenging one. The area offers opportunity to go hiking, canoe paddling and sailing. The long stretch of coast and the many lakes have a lot to offer both for fishing enthusiasts as well as for those who just want to relax in the beautiful nature.
In Karlshamn, it is possible to angle in the world-famous Mörrum River or catch sea trout in Norje gryt or Sillnäss Udde. Catch garfish in Hällevik or Tredenborg, or why not enjoy fresh-caught perch from Valjeviken for dinner?
You may dive in the Baltic Sea at Karlshamn or spend the day on Sölvesborg beach, which is the finest sand beach in Blekinge. Experience the archipelago on foot, bicycle or from a boat. Stop on a small island and enjoy a picnic in the beautiful nature.
However, also Blekinge has other things to offer. The whole family can have a lot of fun and challenges at Kreativum (which corresponds to Eksperimentarium in Denmark). 2000 m2 are filled with play and learn activities and there are also a number of outdoor facilities. One of the three largest cinemas in Sweden, Mega Dome, is also worth visiting.
At the maritime museum in Karlskrona, you will find the history of the Swedish navy illustrated by original models from the 17th century up till today – among other things the submarine is worth visiting. Go exploring the exciting underground tunnel and learn more about the marine archaeological world. Furthermore Karlskrona is on Unesco’s list of World Heritage sites.
For those interested in music, Norje, Sölvesborg and Sweden Rock Festival are all being held in June. Hällvik Tradjazzfestival starts in August and takes place in the small fishing hamlet in Listerlandet.
Børnenes Gård, with focus on life in the countryside, is an exciting attraction for families with children. Here you will find a refreshing water park, where the children can play while the parents relax. Furthermore there are a number of other activities aimed at children.
Excursions in the nature are a must in Sweden. Ronneby Brunnspark is one of the most beautiful parks in Sweden with different events and exhibitions. Räntemåla Gården offers activities in the nature. Among other things, it is possible to experience dears and elks in their natural environment. In Karlshamn, you can go horse riding as in the Wild West, rent Iceland ponies and make a trip on horseback.
It is very easy to spend a whole day in the nature reserve Tjärö which has free ranging animals, fields and meadows. It is also possible to visit caves, cliffs or paddle a canoe to the small islands nearby.

Make a trip to the fortress island, Kastellet, where plays are performed in the summer. Visit the house of adventure, Boda Borg in Sävsjö, where it is possible to test your physical and intellectual ability. A visit to the automobile museum in Olofström is a must for automobile enthusiasts. Pay a visit to Snärjeskogen which is the most splendid event area of Blekinge. You can taste different wines and whiskeys, fish for crabs, take a bath in the large heated Viking baths or just enjoy nature and a well deserved gourmet meal.

The midsummer party in Sweden is truly unique. To many it is a symbol of the lightness, the light and the life force symbolic of the Nordic summer. Midsummer in Sweden is the biggest celebration of solstice in Scandinavia.
When the most Swedish of Swedish parties approach, the whole country is exited. Midsummer is traditionally a feast celebrated with family and friends, but if you are a tourist you are welcome to join the festivities. It is celebrated all over the country - by the coast, in the skerries, by idyllic lakes, in the mountains or one of the islands. All is good, as long as there is plenty of pristine and diverse nature around.
Shortly after booking holiday accommodation through DanCenter you will receive your booking confirmation by post. This confirmation constitutes your rental agreement and contains all necessary information. On the first page you will find information the addresses of your holiday home and the key pick up place, as well as a route description. At the bottom of the page there is a detachable post card for ordering miscellaneous extras, which can be useful to have while on holiday. On the following pages you will find the invoice for the stay you have booked complete with transfer order/inpayment form, stating the due date.
On arrival at the key pick up point, you will be asked to present your rental agreement whereupon you will be handed your key. More often than not electricity, water and other charges are included in the rental amount. Where this is not the case you will also receive an electricity-envelope on which the meter readings of all consumption dependant expenses are to be noted upon arrival as well as departure.
If you wish to rent a boat or engine however, you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
Time of arrival Arrival can take place from 4 p.m. on the day the rental period commences. If you expect to arrive at a different time please arrange this with the contact person in advance. Contact information can be found on your rental agreement.
On the detachable post card at the bottom of the rental agreement, miscellaneous extras can be ordered - however only those stated in the description of your holiday home.
All holiday homes are equipped with all kitchen utensils necessary for the maximum amount of persons, which the house can room. Bed linen, dish cloths, table cloths etc. can in some places be rented.
On the post card you can also order the final cleaning, if this is mentioned in the description of your holiday home.
All extras must be ordered in conjunction with sending the notice of arrival no less than 14 days before commencement of the rental period. If you wish to rent a boat or engine however you need to give notice no less than a month before arrival.
We charge customers a small cleaning audit fee to prepare the room for the next guest, even as some outgoing guests prefer to clean the room themselves. Are such guests still required to pay a cleaning charge? Yes. Please let us explain.
While we appreciate guests cleaning the room themselves, we nonetheless conduct an audit to ensure that the room is in excellent shape. The cleaning audit fee we levy is for the time and effort involved in checking that our cleaning standards have been met, so that we can provide our customers with the best experience.
If you have rented a holiday home in which pets are permitted please remember that it is a lengthy and quite difficult process to obtain all necessary permits for the import of pets to Sweden. Therefore please contact the Swedish Tourist Board or embassy well in advance.
If you have booked a holiday home in Sweden you can either go via Copenhagen across the Øresund Bridge or take a ferry. The bridge toll is 225,- Danish Kroner/crossing. If you choose to go by ferry please remember to order your tickets well in advance.
